Scouting has been a part of the Little Canada community since the 1940's.
In 2018, the Boy Scouts of America opened up Cub Scout program to girls. Pack 9462 opened up the pack to girls, with the first scouts being siblings of current and former Pack and Troop scouts.
In 2019, the Boy Scouts of America opened up the Troop program to girls, changing the name of the program to Scouts BSA.
In 2020 the COVID Pandemic hit and the Pack was unable to meet in person; however, the AOL Den of 3 girls continued to meet over video chats to maintain their bond and work on advancements.
In the fall of 2021 Girls Troop 7462 was formed through bridging 3 Arrow of Light Cub Scouts from Pack 9462. The initial charter organization was St. John's Church of Little Canada. The Troop grew with other girls from the Little Canada and surrounding communities. Amanda Collins became the first Scoutmaster.
In 2023 Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA) took over as the Troops Charter Organization.
