Welcome Aboard

Welcome to Sea Scout Ship 7730!

Thank you for your interest in Sea Scouts. We are sure you and your family will enjoy the many programs and opportunities that we will provide.

Sea Scout Ship 7730 is for young men and women ages 14-20 and will offer traditional Scouting programs, as well as nautical programs to include sailing, SCUBA and other water activities.

Sea Scout Ship 7730 meets with Scout Troop 7730G and members will attend many scouting programs together. Girls who are in the Sea Scout Ship 7730 are encouraged to dual register in Troop 7730G at no additional costs.

Can Adults Join?

The unit committee is adult volunteers and parents who help to provide the administrative and logistical support of the units. All parents are invited and encouraged to serve on the unit committee.

We have partnered with US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 054-20-02, Morehead City, and will be joining them for training and safe boating events. Sea Scouts is the official youth program of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Sea Scouts may join the Flotilla at 14 years old!

Our Chartering Organization is the Rotary Club of District 7730, Passport Clubs are a unique new type of Rotary Club that allows members to participate as Rotarians without the requirement for monthly meetings. As the chartering organization, we hope to share the vision of Rotary:

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves....The time is right to move toward realizing a new vision that brings more people together, increases our impact, and creates lasting change around the world.
