Christmas Tree Recycling Fundraiser

Sea Scout Ship 7730 will help you recycle your undecorated, natural Christmas tree into sand dunes that help protect our precious beaches!

Live Christmas trees are used along our beaches to help create and protect sand dunes.  Sand dunes are vital on our beaches. They protect against storm surge and high waves, reducing coastal flooding and structural damage.  Sand dunes also provide an important ecological habitat.

For $10 suggested donation, our Scouts will come pick up your discarded tree and take it to Fort Macon State Park or Emerald Isle where it will be recycled to help protect our beaches.

We are offering to collect trees in the neighborhoods along the HWY 24 corridor between Cape Carteret & Morehead City on December 30th, January 6th and January 13th after 10 am.   Signing up is easy!  Just complete the google form,  choosing the day you would like your tree removed and choosing your payment method.
