A Sociopath?

Was Scott a 'sociopath'?

Many have claimed that Scott "must be a sociopath". No competent professional has made any such diagnosis, based on a personal examination of him. Based on his history, here we compare him to two well known leaders. Note that it requires three or more 'Yes' answers to determine APD (anti social personality disorder). Note also that it is incompetent reasoning to assume Scott Peterson's guilt for any crime, then use that assumption to 'prove' his guilt for a crime.

Required pre-existing characteristics - all must be true before the above are applied:

• There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three (or more) of the above.

• The individual is at least age 18 years.

• There is evidence of Conduct Disorder with onset before age 15 years. *

    • No incidents are reported for the other two men).

• The occurrence of antisocial behavior is not exclusively during the course of schizophrenia or a manic episode.

Sociopathy is properly referred to as 'AntiSocial Personality Disorder'.
