Safeguarding

As a full time Geography teacher, I have completed various safeguarding courses which are regularly updated. I am committed to always keeping children safe in education as per the government guidelines and advice. As per teacher requirements, I have a full enhanced DBS disclosure.

Student Progress Feedback

Feedback is given regularly. Parents/carers are encouraged to join the video call at the beginning or end of the session for verbal feedback. I also provide ongoing feedback and communication via WhatsApp/email.

Payment
Lessons are paid for either in advance, right after each lesson. For clients wishing to pay weekly, this can be arranged via bank transfer.

Time Keeping & Lesson Cancellation Policy
Tutees are responsible for arriving for tuition on time, as lessons will start and end at the designated time to enable the next student to have their full lesson. If a lesson needs to be rearranged this this is no problem, please ensure notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. This will free up the slot for another student. Missed lessons within 24 hours will be charged at the full hourly rate. If I need to cancel a lesson for any reason, the lesson will be rearranged for an agreed time or a refund can be provided if payment has already been made.
