Becoming a Coach
So you want to help out and coach?
Please follow these steps in order to become involved with our club and help out our athletic community.
Mandatory Steps
Register as a Coach/admin on our registration site.
Register for a background check on the PAWest Risk Management Website
Apply for your PA State Police Criminal Record Clearance
Select New Volunteer Record Check (its free)
Apply for your PA Child Abuse Clearance
PA resident for less than the past 10 years need to Apply for your FBI Fingerprints Clearance
(you'll need this 1KG6ZJ ) The approximate cost will be 21.35.
PA resident for at least the past 10 years only need to Complete (and Notarize) the FBI Affidavit
Complete Safesport Training please see Safesport Instructions below for more details.
The Clearance Materials must be loaded to your account that you registered above on.

RECOMMENDED COACHING EDUCATION
Obtain your Intro to Grassroots Coaching Certificate (FREE) (you need to sign up)
Obtain the appropriate US Youth Soccer Coaching Certificate (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11)
SAfesport Instructions
Complete your SafeSport Training (Must be done every year) Login with the account you made when you registered with the club
Under the Tab Certificates. Click on the Safesport can be completed HERE link- Check image for details.
If you've never completed a Safesport training, enter the 7 digit code it gives you and proceed to create a safesport account.
If you've completed a training before, you need to click on the top right login and reset your password within the safesport website.
