Moose Lodge Meat Raffles

The Lodge operates as a non-profit.  Therefore they need to distribute all their earnings.  They distribute a lot.  We are fortunate to be on their list.  They receive requests from all over the state and choose to do it locally. 

They have a few opportunities for us.  When they distribute funds they favor groups that help them out with Meat Raffles.  The more we volunteer, the more we earn (read below) and they will also consider this at the end of the month/quarter. 

This organization is recognized by the State for it's efficiency, scale and impact.  It is very unique. 

Meat Raffles.  They operate 3 every week: (some hosted at Bierstube IGH)

1. Thursday 6-8pm Bierstube IGH.  Minimum 2 people.  $100 earned

2. Saturday 2-5pm Moose Lodge IGH.  Minimum 3 people. $300 earned

3. Saturday 3-5pm Bierstube IGH. Minimum 3 people $300 earned

Duties: a. Sell tickets to bar patrons.  b. draw the numbers c.keep track of cash and record results. They do 30 "boards" each session.  Each board is 30 tickets.  It's over when 900 tickets are sold.  It goes shockingly fast.    It's all set up - meat, tickets, microphone etc...  All we need to do is provide the labor.  

Ideally 3-4 people.  Kids are OK, they love players in jerseys.  They encourage wearing of team gear.They love to know who is working and who they are supporting. They desperately need help between now and October and invited us to "Sign up for all we can..."   

That is $8400 right in front of us!
