1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScoreTile (“App”), provided by Flowbit Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you must obtain that permission before using the App.
2. About ScoreTile
ScoreTile is a scoreboard utility for matches, games, and practice. It provides manually adjustable scores, set-point markers, a match timer, team colors, and a keep-screen-on setting.
The App saves the current scoreboard state and related preferences on your device. It does not require a ScoreTile account and does not provide Google Play Games sign-in, online leaderboards, or developer-operated cloud synchronization.
The current version does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
3. Permission to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for its intended purpose.
You must not use the App unlawfully, interfere with its operation, manipulate advertising systems, or copy or distribute the App without authorization. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Scores, Timing, and Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for entering scores correctly, selecting appropriate timer settings, and checking the information displayed by the App.
ScoreTile is a convenience tool. It does not independently verify match results, apply every sport’s rules, or replace an official scorer, referee, or certified timing system.
Timing and saved information can be affected by device settings, system interruptions, changes to the device clock, battery conditions, or software errors. For events where accurate timing or records are essential, maintain an appropriate independent record.
5. Advertising and Temporary Timer Access
The App integrates Google AdMob for app-open advertising and optional rewarded advertising.
The timer unlock flow offers two hours of access after a qualifying rewarded-ad interaction. The current implementation also grants temporary timer access after an app-open ad is shown and provides fallback access in certain situations where an advertisement is unavailable or fails.
Follow the instructions shown in the App. Closing a rewarded advertisement before the required interaction is completed can result in no reward being granted.
Temporary timer access is an in-app benefit. It has no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and is not an investment, payment balance, or entitlement to compensation.
Advertisements depend on network availability and the advertising provider. We do not guarantee that an advertisement will always be available. Advertiser offers and external destinations are governed by the relevant third party’s terms.
6. Local Storage and Data Loss
The App stores current scores, set-point selections, timer information, preferences, and operational records on your device.
The match reset control resets the current scores, set points, and timer. It does not erase all preferences or every item stored by the App.
Clearing the App’s storage, uninstalling it, changing devices, or encountering a storage failure can remove saved information and temporary timer access. Android backup or device-transfer features can separately affect whether data is retained or restored.
We do not operate a server backup of your scoreboard and cannot recover device-only records that are no longer available.
7. External Services
The App uses Google advertising services and Google Play features for store access, reviews, and update-related functions. It can also open your email application or browser when you choose a support or policy link.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of an external service can require an internet connection or an account with its provider. Any connection charges are your responsibility.
8. Intellectual Property
The App’s software, branding, design, and original content belong to Flowbit Labs or their respective licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the App’s local storage, advertising-related data processing, support communications, and available privacy choices.
Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required by applicable privacy law.
10. Availability and Changes
We can update the App to correct errors, improve functionality, or respond to technical and legal requirements. Features and compatibility can change between versions.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device. Where applicable law requires notice or other protections for a material change or discontinuation, those requirements apply.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or suitability for a particular event.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flowbit Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App, including losses resulting from inaccurate user entries, interrupted timing, or unavailable local records.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Ending Use
You can stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device.
Your license to use the App can end if you materially breach these Terms, subject to any notice or opportunity to remedy the breach required by applicable law.
Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete information already held by an advertising provider, email provider, or other external service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We can revise these Terms when the App or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision.
Where required, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain agreement before a material change takes effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that apply in your place of residence.
Any dispute will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
