TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScoreDash (the “App”), provided by Flowbit Labs (“Flowbit Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. THE APP
ScoreDash is an offline sports scoreboard and game timer. Depending on the version and enabled features, the App may allow you to:
- Track scores for two teams.
- Enter and edit team names and colors.
- Track timeouts.
- Use countdown or count-up game timers.
- Save the current scoreboard session and preferences locally.
- Receive sound and vibration feedback.
- Access certain timer features by viewing a rewarded advertisement.
- Use other scoring and display tools that may be added or changed over time.
The App is intended as a convenient scoring aid. It is not an officially certified timing, refereeing, tournament management, or scoring system.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are a minor under the laws of your country, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
3. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
ScoreDash does not require a Flowbit Labs account or developer-operated sign-in.
Your scoreboard session and preferences are generally stored on your device. We do not provide cloud synchronization, online leaderboards, or server-based account recovery unless a future version clearly states otherwise.
4. USER-ENTERED INFORMATION
The App may allow you to enter team names and other scoreboard information.
You are responsible for the information you enter. You must not enter content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or that infringes another person’s rights.
Because team names may contain personal information, avoid entering sensitive information unless it is necessary and you have the appropriate permission.
5. SCOREBOARD AND TIMER ACCURACY
You are responsible for confirming all scores, timeout counts, team information, and timer settings.
Device performance, operating-system behavior, background restrictions, user input errors, battery conditions, app interruptions, or technical failures may affect displayed information or timing.
You must not rely on the App as the sole official record for professional competitions, regulated events, safety-critical activities, wagers, gambling, or disputes. Flowbit Labs is not responsible for scoring disagreements, timing errors, lost match information, or decisions made based on the App.
6. LOCAL STORAGE
The App may save scoreboard information and settings on your device, including team names, team colors, scores, timeouts, timer state, display settings, language, theme, sound, vibration, and temporary feature-access status.
Local data may be lost if you reset the App, clear its storage, uninstall it, replace your device, or experience a device or software failure. You are responsible for maintaining any separate official records you require.
7. ADVERTISING
The App may display advertising through Google AdMob or similar advertising providers. Advertising may include display ads and rewarded ads.
Third-party advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP addresses, general location derived from an IP address, app interactions, advertising interactions, and diagnostic information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not control the availability, accuracy, suitability, or content of third-party advertisements.
8. REWARDED ADVERTISEMENTS AND FEATURE ACCESS
The App may offer temporary access to timer features or other in-app benefits after you voluntarily view a rewarded advertisement. For example, completing a rewarded advertisement may unlock timer access for a limited period.
Rewards:
- Have no cash value.
- Cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money.
- May expire after the stated access period.
- May depend on confirmation from the advertising provider.
- May be unavailable because of network conditions, regional availability, advertising inventory, technical problems, or policy restrictions.
We may provide a reasonable fallback or compensation when an advertisement fails after substantial viewing, but such compensation is not guaranteed.
Attempting to manipulate advertisements, reward callbacks, device time, stored reward status, or App behavior may result in loss of access to the affected feature.
9. OPTIONAL PURCHASES
The current version may not offer purchases. If purchases, subscriptions, an ad-free option, or paid features are made available, they may be processed through Google Play Billing or another authorized app-store billing service.
The applicable store processes payment information and manages transactions under its own terms. Flowbit Labs generally receives purchase status and entitlement information rather than complete payment-card details.
Prices, taxes, renewals, cancellation rights, and refund eligibility are governed by the applicable store rules and local law. Unless required by law, Flowbit Labs cannot directly reverse transactions controlled by an app store.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App may interact with third-party services such as:
- Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads.
- Google Play services.
- Google Play Billing, if purchases are enabled.
- Google Play in-app update and review features.
- Device operating-system services.
- Analytics or diagnostic services if they are introduced and disclosed in a future version.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Flowbit Labs is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, or data-handling practices.
11. DEVICE FEATURES AND PERMISSIONS
The App may use internet access and network-state information for advertisements, store features, support links, updates, or other online services.
The App may use device vibration and audio playback to provide score and timer feedback. These functions can generally be controlled through App settings or device settings.
ScoreDash does not require microphone access for its scoreboard sounds and does not record audio.
12. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Interfere with the App, advertising services, billing systems, or security mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, resell, or create unauthorized derivative versions of the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Attempt to obtain rewards, paid features, or access rights through unauthorized means.
- Introduce malicious code or use automated systems to abuse the App or its services.
- Misrepresent the App as an official scoring authority when it is not.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The App, including its software, design, branding, graphics, text, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Flowbit Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
14. UPDATES AND CHANGES
We may update, modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue features of the App. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal compliance, advertising, or store requirements.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available or that the App will be compatible with every device or operating-system version.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
FLOWBIT LABS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY ACCURATE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE ON EVERY DEVICE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWBIT LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, SCORING DISPUTES, EVENT DISRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON AN INCORRECT SCORE OR TIMER.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
17. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Flowbit Labs harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or content you enter into the App.
18. TERMINATION
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may restrict or discontinue the App or particular online features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, service availability, or enforcement of these Terms.
Sections intended by their nature to survive termination will remain effective.
19. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights available to you in your country of residence.
20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms when the App, applicable law, or third-party requirements change. The updated version will include a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the App after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
