PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Flowbit Labs (“Flowbit Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides ScoreDash (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is stored, processed, shared, retained, and deleted when you use the App.
1. SUMMARY
ScoreDash is designed primarily as an offline scoreboard and game timer.
- No Flowbit Labs account is required.
- Scoreboard information and settings are generally stored locally on your device.
- Flowbit Labs does not operate a server that receives your scoreboard sessions.
- The App may use Google AdMob for display and rewarded advertisements.
- Advertising providers may automatically process device, interaction, diagnostic, and advertising information.
- If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The App may store the following information locally:
- User-entered team names.
- Team colors.
- Home and away scores.
- Timeout counts and timeout limits.
- Team display order.
- Timer mode, duration, running state, and related timestamps.
- Sound and vibration preferences.
- Language, theme, and display preferences.
- Temporary rewarded timer-access expiration information.
- Advertising display or frequency status.
- Purchase or entitlement status if paid features are enabled in a future version.
- Other technical preferences required to operate the App.
This information is stored using device-local application storage, such as Android preferences.
Flowbit Labs does not normally receive or have access to this locally stored scoreboard information.
If you enter a real person’s name as a team name, that information remains user-provided information. Avoid entering sensitive personal information or information you are not authorized to use.
3. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY ADVERTISING SERVICES
The App may use Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide display and rewarded advertisements.
Depending on the device, region, consent choices, SDK configuration, and advertising mode, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location.
- Advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device or account-related identifiers.
- Device and operating-system information.
- App launches, taps, ad views, video views, and other user interactions.
- Advertising interactions and reward events.
- Diagnostic and performance information, including launch time, hangs, crashes, and energy usage.
- Fraud-prevention, security, and invalid-traffic information.
This information may be used for advertising, ad delivery, frequency capping, analytics, measurement, security, fraud prevention, and compliance.
The availability of personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ads may depend on your region and consent choices.
Google processes this information under its own policies:
Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Advertising Technologies:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
4. REWARDED ADVERTISEMENTS
ScoreDash may allow you to voluntarily view a rewarded advertisement to unlock timer access for a limited period, such as four hours.
The advertising provider may process information about whether an advertisement was loaded, displayed, watched, completed, dismissed, or failed. The App stores the resulting access expiration time locally on your device.
The locally stored timer-access status is not an online account and is not synchronized through a Flowbit Labs server.
5. ANALYTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS
Flowbit Labs does not currently operate a proprietary account-based analytics or crash-reporting backend for ScoreDash.
However, third-party SDKs—particularly advertising services—may process app-interaction and diagnostic information for analytics, performance measurement, advertising, security, and fraud prevention.
If a separate analytics or crash-reporting service is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the App’s store disclosures will be updated as appropriate.
6. PURCHASE INFORMATION
The current version may not offer in-app purchases.
If purchases, subscriptions, an ad-free option, or paid features are enabled, transactions may be processed by Google Play Billing or another authorized app-store billing provider.
The payment provider may process:
- Payment and billing information.
- Purchase history.
- Order identifiers.
- Transaction status.
- Subscription status.
- Country, currency, and applicable tax information.
Flowbit Labs generally receives transaction confirmation and entitlement status rather than complete payment-card details.
Payment information is handled under the applicable store’s privacy policy and terms.
7. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE WHEN CONTACTING US
If you contact Flowbit Labs by email, we may receive:
- Your email address.
- Your name or display name.
- The contents of your message.
- Screenshots, files, or device information you choose to attach.
- Information needed to investigate and respond to your request.
Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for support.
8. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE FUNCTIONS
ScoreDash may use the following Android permissions or device capabilities:
Internet and network state:
Used to load advertisements, open policy or support links, access store services, and support online features.
Vibration:
Used to provide optional haptic feedback for score changes, controls, or timer completion.
Audio playback:
Used to provide optional scoreboard and timer sounds.
ScoreDash does not require microphone access for its sound features and does not record or upload raw audio.
The App does not require access to your contacts, precise location, camera, photos, or media storage for its core scoreboard functions.
9. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information may be used to:
- Provide and restore the scoreboard session.
- Remember App settings and preferences.
- Operate the game timer.
- Provide sound and vibration feedback.
- Grant and maintain temporary rewarded feature access.
- Display, measure, and secure advertisements.
- Process purchases if paid features are enabled.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
- Maintain compatibility, stability, and security.
- Respond to support inquiries.
- Comply with legal and store requirements.
10. LEGAL BASES
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information may be processed based on:
- Performance of a service requested by you.
- Your consent, including advertising consent where required.
- Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
- Protection against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
You may withdraw consent through available consent controls or device settings where applicable. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
11. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
Flowbit Labs does not sell user-entered scoreboard sessions.
Information may be processed or shared with:
- Google AdMob and advertising technology providers.
- Google Play and billing providers if purchases are enabled.
- Operating-system and app-store service providers.
- Service providers necessary for hosting policy pages or handling support communications.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the App, subject to applicable law.
Advertising-related processing may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws, even when Flowbit Labs does not receive the underlying information directly.
12. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
Local App data:
Scoreboard sessions, preferences, and reward-access status remain on your device until overwritten, reset, cleared through device settings, or removed by uninstalling the App.
Advertising and store data:
Third-party providers retain information according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.
Support communications:
Emails and related records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support history, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. They may then be deleted or anonymized.
13. DATA DELETION
You may delete locally stored ScoreDash information by:
- Resetting relevant information within the App where a reset option is available.
- Clearing ScoreDash storage through your device settings.
- Uninstalling the App.
Uninstalling the App generally deletes locally stored App data, subject to operating-system backups or device-specific behavior.
To request deletion of information contained in support communications, contact flowbitlabs@gmail.com. We may need to retain limited information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Information controlled by Google or another third party must be managed through that provider’s privacy controls.
14. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent.
- Request data portability where applicable.
- File a complaint with a privacy authority.
Because most ScoreDash information is stored only on your device, Flowbit Labs may not possess or be able to retrieve it.
You may manage advertising identifiers and ad-personalization choices through Android, Google, or device privacy settings. Availability varies by device and region.
To exercise a right regarding information held directly by Flowbit Labs, contact flowbitlabs@gmail.com.
15. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Third-party advertising, store, and support providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required, providers may use recognized safeguards for international data transfers. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
16. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we control.
Locally stored information is protected primarily by your device and operating-system security. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Third-party services may use encryption in transit and other safeguards. However, no device, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
17. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
ScoreDash is a general-purpose scoreboard and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly operate an account system that collects personal information directly from children.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the App, particularly the entry of team names and interaction with advertisements.
If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to Flowbit Labs through a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
18. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The App may open websites, advertisements, Google Play pages, email applications, or other third-party services.
Your interaction with those services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Flowbit Labs does not control third-party content or privacy practices.
19. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices.
The revised version will include a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or store listing where appropriate.
