SCORE (501[c][3]) is a nonpartisan organization committed to anti-racist action with the ultimate goal of making people of color feel heard, safe, and welcome in southeastern CT.

OUR MISSION
The purpose of SCORE is to advocate for and take action that promotes racial equity in southeastern CT. We work with many facets of local communities to encourage action that promotes diversity and inclusion while combating systemic racism and oppression.
Awareness: We know that one way to combat racism by raising awareness of its causes and effects, and promoting conversations on how to become a better anti-racist.
Policy: We know that the leaders of our local communities hold power to make influential changes through education and policy, and that consistent advocacy is necessary in order to invoke that action.
Finance: We know that racism creates barriers for many people of color to access opportunities for advancement, and that financial contribution can increase accessibility to some of those opportunities.
In our work, we engage with all of these routes, and continue to learn more about anti-racist action.
