Suddenly a demon racer named Inferno appears in a big race to sabotage the race. Shaggy and Scooby try to run away with the food from their truck, but before they can, Mr. McMahon hires Mystery Inc. to solve the mystery. Mr. McMahon wants Stephanie to pull out of the race, but she refuses. After learning they both have wealthy dads, Daphne becomes friends with Stephanie, making Velma feel very left out. The Undertaker is disappointed that his partner, Dusty Rhodes was injured in the race and recruits Shaggy and Scooby to be his new partners under their names "Skinny Man" and "Dead Meat", to which they reluctantly agree to at first. However, since Undertaker's car was also destroyed in Inferno's attack, Fred modifies Shaggy and Scooby's food truck so they and Undertaker can race that car instead and nicknames it "The Scoobinator".

Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery (also released as Scooby-Doo! The WWE Mystery[3]) is a 2014 direct-to-DVD animated comedy mystery film, and the twenty-second film in the direct-to-video series of Scooby-Doo films. It is a co-production between Warner Bros. Animation and WWE Studios. The film features Scooby and the gang solving a mystery at WrestleMania.[4] It was released on March 24, 2014 in the United Kingdom[1] and on March 25, 2014 in the United States[2] by Warner Home Video.

At the show, Mr. McMahon unveils the WWE Championship belt, which has been held vacant Kane's last match was overturned. The title is up for grabs over the weekend at WrestleMania. The gang is then offered a tour of WWE's training camp before arriving at their cabins. Later that night, Daphne and Velma overhear Ruben arguing with Cookie over not becoming a WWE wrestler because of Cookie's leg injury. Meanwhile, Scooby has a dream about wrestling giant food monsters when Shaggy wakes him up and they both encounter the Ghost Bear before running for their lives. The WWE wrestlers intervene during the chase, but Triple H and Brodus Clay are overpowered by the monster, which disappears after throwing Sin Cara's hot rod toward a water tower. The next morning, the gang is briefed by WWE executive Ms. Richards that the city has been terrorized by bear attacks over the past few weeks. Mr. McMahon asks the gang to solve the Ghost Bear mystery to ensure the security of the WWE belt. Cena and Sin Cara explain to the gang that the legend of the Ghost Bear started over 100 years ago with a wrestling bear named Vicious, who was defeated by Sin Cara's great-great-great grandfather Sin Cara Grande at the grounds that would be WWE City. Furious over its loss, Vicious vented its frustration on the town until Sin Cara Grande warded it off to a cave at the cost of a career-ending leg injury. It is believed by Sin Cara that the spirit of the bear has been stirred by WrestleMania.

Shaggy: Like, you think maybe the gang's solved the mystery yet? Because there's no mystery as to where we're going.

Scooby: Yeah, to the hospital.

Shaggy: No. The morgue!

This all-new original Scooby-Doo mystery features some of the biggest names in the WWE! When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania by getting the high score in a WWE video game, the entire gang travels in the Mystery Machine to WWE City to attend the epic event. However, after a mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show by stealing the championship belt, Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred must work with WWE superstars and divas -- including Triple H, John Cena, Kane, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sin Cara and AJ Lee -- to solve the case. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon also lends his voice. When even the musclebound WWE stars can't stop the ghost bear, McMahon asks the Mystery Inc. gang for help. But after security camera footage shows Scooby stealing the belt, Velma thinks the pooch was under the influence of post-hypnotic suggestions from the video game.

Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania, and the entire gang heads to WWE City to attend. When a ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show, the team works with WWE superstars to solve the mystery.

The premise of this movie is that WWE has their own city -- possibly a small sovereign nation, I have no idea and it is never addressed as its very existence is taken as a given by everyone involved -- full of WWE-related businesses, including an arena that seems to host every WWE event, including WrestleMania. This is the single least believable thing about the movie, and I am including the talking, mystery-solving dog in that statement. Just the logistics of it defy any explanation, both in the story and in terms of how it came about in the writing process. I mean, would it be that weird to just explain that WWE was planning events in Crystal Cove (or Coolsville, for those of you who adhere to the heretical live-action movie continuity)? Instead, I've been sitting here all night trying to puzzle out the process of Vince McMahon buying a massive, unincorporated parcel of land and then deciding that his employees should live and train in a quarry with a gigantic carving of the WWE Championship etched into the side of a mountain. Not that I think he wouldn't do it if it were possible, you understand.

I have to admit, director Brandon Vietti and writer Michael Ryan have done a pretty fantastic job of this one. Vietti in particular has finally created a crossover that has redeemed him for the lackluster and disappointing The Batman vs. Dracula. The mystery isn't exactly edge-of-the-seat stuff, but it is a step above the usual Scooby-Doo DTV movies, and considering how much they have to do to incorporate this completely bonkers premise that they're dealing with, it's infinitely fascinating (to me). There wasn't a five minute stretch of this film where something didn't happen that made me want to grab a screenshot and show to everyone I know. Like, say, this. e24fc04721
