Dermaplaning is a popular skin care treatment and is a cosmetic procedure that removes the top layer of your skin along with any vellus hair.
This process of this treatment involves using a scalpel at a 45 degree angle to remove peach fuzz and too lightly exfoliate the skins surface. The aim of dermaplaning is to make your skin radiant and smooth. It will get rid of all dead skin cells and oil from the skin which means breakouts are less likely to happen.
Removing all the peach fuzz from your face is a bonus as excess hair can trap dirt and oil which can lead to break outs and blocked pores.
Dermaplaning can be done on anyone anywhere on the body that has vellus hair (peach fuzz).
Highly benefits anyone with:
Acne scars
Dull skin
Dry skin
Sun damage skin
Fine lines and wrinkles
If you have extremely sensitive skin or cystic acne this treatment is not recommended.
It is recommended to come to your treatment with no make up on, if you have anyone this will be removed and a double cleanse to follow ensuring the skin is completely cleansed. The dermaplaning will then start.
The skin must always be slightly stretched so that there is a flat smooth surface to work with. Once the dermaplaning is finished custom serums and finishing products including an SPF moisturiser will be applied.
Optional for red or yellow LED Light Therapy as an add on to give your skin that extra glow.
Derma-planning is pain free. All you will feel is scratching along the skins surface.
There is zero recovery time after this treatment. The most you will experience is some redness that does not last very long.
Immediately after the treatment you will notice your skin is more radiant and glowing.
It is a myth that shaving the vellus hair of will make a grow back darker and thicker this is not true as dermaplaning does not effect the base of the hair follicle.
After the treatment for you to get the best results possible please....
