Coach Vanessa Santiago is excited to be entering her fourth year as Head Coach for the Space Coast Lady Vipers. Her prior coaching experience includes Assistant Woman’s Basketball Coach at Indian River State College and two years as the Women's Head Basketball Coach at Brevard Community College. Coach Santiago’s passion has always been focused on making a positive impact in her community and she has done so in her professional career by mentoring at-risk teens for nine years.

Coach Santiago is not a native of Brevard, but was a four year varsity basketball athlete at Titusville High School. She continued her career playing one year at Brevard Community College and transferred to Coker College as a dual-sport scholarship athlete playing basketball and volleyball. She received her bachelor’s degree from Coker University in Psychology/Counseling and later a master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Public Administration.
