I love the water, plain and simple. I even went to visit my field site on my day off to get some pretty drone footage. Please enjoy a bird's eye view of the Neuse River Estuary. Notice the connectivity of the marsh, the color of the water pools, and how dynamic the ecosystem is; transitioning from wetland forest, to marsh, to beach and ocean, and including man-made channels along the roadway.
