Available at the PSU Bookstore on course reserve, and used for less here and here. It is likely not available from any libraries on short notice, but that is an option too.

You are also welcome to listen to this as an audiobook but be sure you have a method for taking notes to bring to class.

Weekly readings will be a combination of online articles, academic papers, and selections of sci-fi literature. All online texts should be able to be accessed with your PSU or OHSU credentials, and some are hyperlinked in the syllabus, but please let us know if you are not able to access anything.

Notes on sourcing sci-fi selections:

Because you are only reading a couple chapters from these we do not expect you to spend money on them and are here to help you source them.

You won't be reading these until week 5. Feel free to look ahead, choose the selections you'll be most interested in, and source the content ahead of time (e.g., library, buy used, etc.).

Alexis and Nell have many of the books that these selections are from and can make them available to borrow.

Some of these, especially short stories, are available online for free. You may also be able to read free samples of books and could use that allocation to access the selections.
