I am currently developing a methods paper focused on standardized workflows for scientific macro photography in horticultural and biological research contexts. The manuscript addresses imaging protocols, optical setup considerations, and image quality standards for use in research documentation and species identification. Publication options are being explored in collaboration with colleagues at my workplace research group.
Ongoing practice-based research applying focus stacking, polarized lighting, and high-magnification optical systems to generate publication-quality imagery of plant structures, arthropods, minerals, etc. This work directly informs the methods manuscript and contributes to institutional image archives.
