LEHIGH Information

- Good news for display boards! SMS has decided to participate in Lehigh University's Science Fair competitions. I like to call this the "display board alternative to PJAS". Similar to PJAS, students who are doing a display board have the option of competing in a separate fair. Prizes may include recognition, money, scholarships, and more. Information will be available as I get it.

- Students who are interested must complete forms 1, 1A, and 1B (see Forms link).

Additional Info (read the letter above first):

• Projects must be set up on Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• Projects will not be permitted to be set up on Saturday
• Students should be at their projects by 12:00 noon on Saturday
• Judges start to move onto the floor at 12:15 to begin interviews
• No snacks or drinks are allowed at the projects
• A light snack and a bottle of water will be provided at the halftime presentation
• Phones, ipads, tablets are allowed - they must be kept on silent
• Parents/Guardians may stay for the fair, a seating area will be provided
• Fair will conclude around 4:30 p.m., possibly earlier
• Winners (Grades 7 - 12) may be invited to stay for the Del Val Fair meeting
