Science 10 Chemistry

Introduction

In this site, the purpose is to:

1. Make resources accessible for students to engage in Science 10 Chemistry unit virtually

2. Make it possible for students to extend their learning beyond class material

3. Create resources that will support students' curricular competencies in Science 10 Chemistry unit at home

We have compiled a list of resources, such as videos, virtual labs, and simulations that will enable students to use this site to aid in their understanding and for educators to use this site as a resource for the Science 10 Chemistry Unit.

The Curriculum Guide Section will provide a user guide in navigating the resources and provides the curriculum for which resources will cater towards.

There are four major sections for the Chemistry Unit:

1. Atomic Theory and Models

2. Naming Compounds

3. Chemical Reactions and Equations

4. Lab Safety

In each section, you will find resources that help enable a better understanding of each section and subtopics.
