Chemistry

Chemistry Course Description

Course Description: Chemistry is a laboratory science course in which students study the properties and behavior of matter. Chemistry is a college preparatory course; therefore, it provides sufficient information for a student to continue chemistry instruction in our AP chemistry course or the first college level chemistry course. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on problem solving and laboratory skills. As this course relies heavily on the mathematics behind the science, it is imperative that all students have a good understanding of algebra.
