Background
Our leukemia filtration project was initiated in September 2023 by a team of researchers from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, specializing in mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering. Driven by the urgent need for innovative treatments to combat leukemia, our team sought to explore novel approaches that could potentially improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden of this devastating disease.
Impact
our leukemia filtration project has the potential to significantly impact the lives of countless individuals affected by this debilitating disease. By developing a novel and effective treatment approach, we aim to:
Improve patient outcomes: Our filtration system could help reduce the progression of leukemia, minimize the need for intensive chemotherapy, and improve overall quality of life for patients.
Reduce the burden of the disease: By selectively targeting leukemia cells, we can potentially alleviate the symptoms associated with the disease, such as fatigue, infections, and bleeding.
Advance medical technology: Our research and development efforts could contribute to the advancement of filtration technology and its application in other medical fields.
Provide hope and inspiration: Our project offers hope for patients and their families by exploring new avenues of treatment and potentially improving their chances of recovery.
Ultimately, our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia by providing a safe, effective, and accessible treatment option.
