Shea is currently working as a Sexual Health Clinician with the Sexual Health Rehabilitation Service and the Vancouver Sperm Retrieval Clinic. In this role, Shea's focus has been on providing education and support to client's and their partners who have experienced changes to their sexual health as a result of an injury or illness. She has been working in this field for the last 13 years and has been involved in numerous research projects in her career.
