Interests:

Karen has had a keen interest in the application of the self-management paradigm into the acute rehab setting for the last 10 years. Together with colleagues at GF Strong she has been involved with running a Self-Management Support Community of Practice and training in Brief Action Planning. She continues to work with teams to incorporate self-management principles into service delivery in an attempt to better prepare clients to manage their health challenges following SCI and ultimately enhance outcomes and quality of life.
