Interests:

Dr Yang is interested in the neural control of human walking and how to use that knowledge to improve the recovery of walking after insult to the nervous system. Current projects focus on people with spinal cord injury, and children with early brain injury, including perinatal stroke and encephalopathy from prematurity.
