Interests:

Kristen's role at the Rick Hansen Institute has allowed her to contribute to SCI research and best practice implementation across Canada. She has led a variety of initiatives designed to improve care for individuals with SCI with a focus on assessment tools including the development of a computerized ISNCSCI classification algorithm. She works on the Rick Hansen Spinal Cord Injury Registry and has provided clinical training for hundreds of clinicians. Clinically her practice in the area of SCI has been with individuals across the continuum of care.
