The School Therapist can provide support to any student or parent at Wendler Middle School. The student or a parent can just give a call (742-8997) and schedule a time to meet.
Therapy services - such as Individual therapy or family therapy are billed to insurance just as would happen in any outpatient therapy clinic. A referral from the School Counselor or Administration is required to access those services.
If you want a referral for therapy services - you can call JB - or your School Counselor to discuss the process.
An appointment will be scheduled with the parent, a consent to treat signed, and a treatment plan agreed upon.
The idea of the program is to provide general mental health support to all - and have individualized support on campus for those who qualify and would benefit.
