2020
Our inaugural School of the Minds Future City team won Best Project Management Team.
They were also runners-up for Best Planned City, Best Water Treatment Process, Best Incorporation of Energy Efficiency in Water Systems, and Rookie Award.
2019
Our inaugural School of the Minds TEAMS team ranked best in the state of South Carolina and exceeded the minimum score to automatically qualify to compete in the national TEAMS competitions.
Our Division B team for Science Olympiad ranked in one event.
One of only two K-2nd grade teams that participated in the SC Odyssey of the Mind event.
Two of our students were recognized by TEDEd Clubs this year on the “TEDEd Student Talks” Playlist.
Another student's TEDEd talk was spotlighted by Children's Hospital in Wisconsin!
2018
Two of our students were recognized by TEDEd Clubs this year on the TEDEd Clubs “For the Young Ones” Playlist.
Our inaugural Science Olympiad team placed 6th place in Solar Systems, 6th place in Towers, and 3rd place in Roller Coaster in our state event.
2017
With the help of Home Depot, we donated a Little Free Library to the Irmo Community Park and another one to Wingards Market.
Inclusions in Schools is highlighted in TEDEd Clubs LET’S BE BETTER Playlist and included in the What students taught TED-Ed this year video.
My backyard got way cooler when I added a dragon was posted on TEDEd's YouTube channel, Gifted Homeschoolers Forum and Positively Filipino.
2016
One of our students was spotlighted on TEDEd Club’s Newsletter in April, added to TEDEd Clubs’ YouTube Picks Playlist, participated in TEDxYouth@Columbia’s TEDxYouthWeekend, and the inaugural TEDEd Weekend Event.
