Along with singing, he also plays a few instruments such as saxophone or flute occasionally for the band. He graduated from UConn in 2014 with a BA in music and got his teaching certification in music from CCSU in 2019. He currently teaches Chorus at Torrington High School.

A recent graduate of the Hartt School's BFA Musical Theater program, Olivia's time as an undergraduate provided her with a unique set of experiences that shaped the performer and person she is today. She was lucky enough to take masterclasses from Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz as well as film star, Richard Dreyfuss. But perhaps her most cherished memory from her time at Hartt took place in October of her junior year when she had the incredible opportunity to sing backup and solo for Broadway legend, Kristin Chenoweth, and fulfill her lifelong dream of singing on broadway.
Since graduating, Olivia has worked as a building substitute and learning tutor at Elizabeth Green Elementary School in her home town of Newington. Also a graduate of the University of Hartford's English program, Olivia is currently enrolled at the University of Connecticut, working to obtain her master's in English education.
Bruce Francischelli is a retired Cheshire teacher who loves to work at nothing all day. He started playing with the School Daze Band in 2000.
Lisa Conti worked in the Newington Public School system as a sixth-grade teacher from 1996 to 2017, and has been a member of the School Daze band since the year 2000. She loved her position as a language arts/ social studies teacher, but has always had a passion for the arts. She took piano lessons for 7 years and grew up hand-drumming on anything and everything, as she found the rhythms in songs on the radio, footsteps in a hallway, and even the sounds in nature. So it is fitting that she became the band’s percussionist shortly after the creation of the School Daze band at John Wallace Middle School. Lisa is also a vocalist, and enjoys backing up and harmonizing with her talented band mates.
Robert Ciaffaglione currently attends the Hartt School of Music (West Hartford, CT) seeking a dual degree in Music Education and Trumpet Performance. He started playing trumpet with School Daze Band in 2012, alongside Mr. Brian Kelly while at John Wallace Middle School. During his freshman year of high school, he assumed the keyboard role as well as continuing to play trumpet. Later on, he started to sing and play guitar. Rob is especially known for his rendition of "Fireball" (originally by Pitbull) and "Take It Easy" (originally by The Eagles) with School Daze Band. Rob especially enjoys making music with his former Newington teachers.
Rob also plays piano and trumpet for a variety of pit orchestras, weddings, and private events throughout Connecticut, including a jazz trio known as 42nd Street. Since 2017, Rob has been teaching trumpet privately throughout Central Connecticut. He also works with Jon Ball and David Zoni, Jr. as a Brass Technician at The Music Lab, LLC. in Southington CT.
