Work With Me - Melissa Kendall.
I am not a general tutor.
I am an IB Examiner and experienced IB educator who understands exactly how marks are awarded.
I have assessed IB student work, trained teachers, and written IB Economics curriculum. I know what separates a descriptive 5 from a structured, analytical 7 — because I have marked it.
Students work with me when they:
• Understand the content but lose marks due to structure
• Write descriptively instead of analytically
• Struggle to move from claim to justified claim
• Need precise, criterion-focused feedback
• Are aiming for a 6 or 7 and want expert-level guidance
You will not receive vague comments like “develop this more.”
You will receive:
• Clear identification of where marks are being lost
• Direct guidance on how to move to the next markband
• Specific instruction on evaluation and judgment
• Structured models aligned with IB expectations
My work is focused, structured, and performance-oriented. I work with a limited number of students to ensure high-level, individualized feedback.
ScholarsIQ is built on one principle:
Clarity earns marks.
