Do you write scholarships essays?

I don't write essays from scratch (that would be unethical). However, I do edit what you have already written for your essay so that it flows better and is overall more compelling to read both physically and content-wise.

I understand that not everyone has the best writing skills either due to educational barriers or perhaps because English is not their first or best written language. However, I believe that financial assistance for higher education shouldn't be denied just because of someone's writing skills. One's literacy level should not dictate or define ones intelligence level. So that's why I help out using the editing techniques I've learned from my Journalism studies. My service for that will be linked here.

NOTE: You will have to sign in using your Google account to access the editing service forum.

Do you have samples of essays you've edited with a before and after?

As of now, not yet. I don't disclose my clients' essays because it may contain sensitive personal info about their background and struggles in life. However, once I get someone's consent to show the before and after edits of their essay, I will share that so you can have an idea of what the editing will look like.

Helping with scholarships:

I've applied to so many scholarships and have never won — what am I doing wrong?

For one, you're probably applying for the wrong ones. The less specific the eligibility for a scholarship is, the more competitive a scholarship is and the less likely you can win. Whereas the more specific the eligibility for a scholarship is, the less competitive it is and the more likely you can win. Focus on local scholarships rather than national-based ones. You'll have a better shot at winning those. Most of the ones I won were local.

Can you help me find and get a scholarship?

What I mainly do is offer advice on which types of scholarships to apply for that you are more likely to win and research techniques to locating them. Recommending you to specific scholarships will only help you so much; however, I have started my own mini-database of scholarships which you can view here.

There are lots of free sites already out there that specialize in recommending scholarships to apply for. In fact, most students depend too heavily on sites that recommend scholarships, but have no idea on how to go about the process and the techniques / strategies needed in order to win. So they may be applying over and over again and not winning anything because they are not equipped with the foundational skills needed.

Me teaching you how to go about the process will take you much further and be far more beneficial. It's like the quote "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Types of students I help:

Do you help international students planning to study abroad in the US? Does the advice in your book and YouTube channel help those who plan to study OUTSIDE of the US?

Yes. As seen in this promo video, several of those who won were international students. The people I have helped have ranged anywhere from Canada, Sudan, D.R Congo, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia etc — both studying within the US and who study elsewhere. Most of the advice is universal to any student no matter where they are from.

Does the advice you have help high school seniors, current college undergrads, graduate/master's, or PhD/doctorate’s?

The scholarship advice is universal to any classification of student.

Does the advice you have help with my specific major? Nursing school, law school, business school etc?

The scholarship advice is universal to any major/study concentration for a student. If you view the testimonials tab on my website, you will see that various students were studying nursing, law, business, etc,.

Legitimacy / credibility:

Are you scamming / lying to people?

I put together a whole promo video with screenshots from my channel, testimonial videos/posts + news coverage from multiple sources backing me up. In addition to this, I did my undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism and even interned for ABC News at the national level. My industry is all about attribution/citing credible sources. If I was out here scamming people that would literally ruin my career which is based off of credibility.

Did you really help people win all that money?

Yes. In fact, $2 million is actually an understatement. It's probably 4x or 5x more than that because a lot of people don't report back to me saying that I helped them win.

For example, had I not posted this video to the Twitter thread, I wouldn't have know that this person won a $20,000 scholarship thanks to one of my YouTube videos.
