Scholarcy is an iOS application designed to help users summarize and study research papers.

Text, abstracts, and research content you submit for summarization
Images captured using the camera when you use the scanning feature

When you import a research paper, PDF, image, link, abstract, or other content into Scholarcy, that content may be processed to provide features such as:

We do not claim ownership of the research content you import into the App.
Scholarcy uses artificial intelligence to analyze and summarize research content.
Content submitted for AI processing may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers when necessary to provide these features.
We recommend that you do not submit confidential, private, or sensitive information that you are not authorized to share.
If you use the document scanning feature, Scholarcy may request access to your device camera.
Camera access is used only to allow you to capture documents or printed pages for processing within the App.
You can control camera permissions at any time through your iOS device settings.
Scholarcy allows you to import documents from services such as Files, Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud.
The App only accesses content that you choose to import or make available through the relevant system interface.
Access to these services is controlled by the permissions and authentication mechanisms provided by Apple and the respective service providers.
Scholarcy may store summarized papers, highlights, flashcards, references, and other library content on your device.
This allows you to search and read your library without an internet connection.
Scholarcy offers paid subscriptions.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and are billed to your Apple ID.
We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.
Apple processes payments and manages subscription billing according to Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Scholarcy may use third-party services to provide certain functionality, including AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, payment and subscription management, or other technical services.

Scholarcy is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws.

Depending on the information involved, you may be able to:
Delete content stored within the App
Delete the App and its locally stored data
Control device permissions through iOS Settings
Manage your App Store subscription through your Apple ID settings
