Photo Journal Assignment

*This assignment can be done if you go with the class on the field trip or you can go on your own field trip. If you choose to go on your own field trip, you can choose a museum that relates to science or a place like a state or county park, or some other earth feature that is related to this class.

Instructions: Take two photos of objects or places related to this class. Describe the photos and how they relate to class. Use vocabulary words from your class to describe the objects you have photographed. Your Photo Journal should have at least two vocabulary words in the description.

Answer the following questions about the objects you have photographed:

1. What is it?

2. Where is it?

3. How does it relate to the class?

4. What is interesting or significant about the objects you have photographed?

5. Why did you pick these objects?

This assignment is worth 25 extra credit points.
