Applications for Cohort 8 are open now through March 27, 2026!

What else do I need to submit?

In addition to the Application linked above, you will need a Professional Reference Form completed by an Administrator, Lead Teacher, Department Head, etc. at your school. You, the applicant, are responsible for sending this information to the person who you want to provide the reference and for making sure that the form is sent by the deadline.  

What is the application deadline? 

Both the Application and the Professional Reference Form are due by March 27, 2026.

When can I expect to hear a decision? 

You can expect to hear back from us about your application status in mid-April. 

At that point, accepted candidates will need to take the W!SE Educator Certification Test and pass it with a minimum score of 70% by mid-September. SC Economics will offer multiple opportunities for accepted candidates to take the W!SE test virtually and at no cost.
