Remaining Creative Challenges for 2026
The object of the following challenging exercises is to force you into seeing photographic opportunities wherever you go. You don’t need to be in an exotic location to find interesting photographs. Your observations and creative approach will stretch your talent and add you your expertise.
When we display the photographs feel free to tell us what your thoughts and process was.
You can jump ahead & shoot challenges before the Month shown, just have your photos ready by the last week of the month indicated. Dropbox upload links will be on our website
File restrictions
All files need to be in JPEG Format & File size 5 MB or less. The dimensions are not restricted, however between the size of 1280x720 and 6000x4000 would be best.

2026
July 2026: Negative Space
Take pictures highlighting an object with negative space. Submit 3 pictures
August 2026: Short Action Video
Take a short 15 second video with your camera, cell phone or video camera, telling a story. Submit 1 video
September 2026: Round / Square / Triangle
Take pictures incorporating the above shapes. Work on creativity. submit 3 pictures
October 2026: Wild Animals
Take pictures of wild animals (not dogs or cats) at the zoo or in the wild. submit 3 pictures
November 2026: Flames or Fire
Take pictures of something burning. Focus on Aperture and safety.Submit 3 pictures
December 2026: Any Holiday Image
Take a picture of anything holiday related. You can pick the holiday. Submit 3 Pictures
