Scenarist ("we," "our," or "the app") is a screenwriting application developed by Mykola Viunyk. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information Scenarium handles and how.
We do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
We do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Your scripts stay on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. We never see them.
Scripts and script content. All scripts you create are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, scripts are synced through your personal Apple iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. Your scripts are never transmitted to our servers — we do not operate any servers that store your content.
Purchases and subscriptions. When you subscribe to Scenarium Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple shares a transaction identifier with the app so we can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your name, email, payment information, or any other personal data from Apple.
Microphone and speech recognition. If you use the voice dictation feature, your speech is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition to convert it into text in your script. Audio is not sent to our servers. Apple's speech recognition may process audio on-device or on Apple's servers depending on your device and settings; see Apple's privacy policy for details.
Crash and performance data. If you opt in to sharing diagnostics with Apple in your iOS settings, anonymous crash and performance data may be shared with Apple and forwarded to us through Apple's standard developer tools. This data is not linked to your identity.
Your name, email, phone number, or address
Your location
Your contacts, photos, or calendar
Your browsing history or device identifiers for advertising
Your script content (we never see it)
Scenarium is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Scenarium uses the following Apple frameworks. Their data handling is governed by Apple's privacy policy:
iCloud / CloudKit — for optional script sync across your own devices
StoreKit — for subscription purchases
Speech framework — for voice dictation
Because we do not collect your personal data, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf. To delete your scripts, delete them in the app or uninstall Scenarium. To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
