SCP-060 encompasses a grove consisting of seventeen white oak trees (Quercus alba), spanning an expanse of approximately 8 acres within the rural northeastern region of Minnesota. Concurrently, a residential structure situated on the property underwent demolition during the construction phase of Satellite-Site 66-060, a process initiated following an exhaustive survey conducted by Foundation personnel to glean insights pertaining to SCP-060.
Upon ignition, SCP-060 generates an entity designated henceforth as SCP-060-Alpha. The latter takes the form of an animated adult human skeleton, measuring approximately 2.3 meters in height and enveloped by vivid white flames. SCP-060-Alpha's initial combustion temperature is estimated at approximately 1500°C (~2730°F), and during its active state, it exhibits an inclination to inflict considerable harm. The activation of SCP-060-Alpha requires as little as 20g of SCP-060 to be burned. Notably, only a solitary instance of SCP-060-Alpha materializes at any given moment; it is postulated that SCP-060-Alpha embodies a unique entity.
SCP-060-Alpha presents an exceptionally perilous nature, as evidenced by its hostile and relatively intelligent behavior.
