Religious Information

Catholic Resources for Bible, Liturgy, Art, and Theology - This website contains a variety of materials, mostly related to biblical and liturgical studies, intended for scholars, teachers, students, pastors, believers, seekers, and others. Many pages contain my own writings and photos, some pages were created by my students, and some have links to other websites. Although I am a Roman Catholic priest and have taught mostly in Catholic institutions, I hope these materials are academically reliable and pastorally adaptable, so they can be useful for many other Christians and non-Christians as well. Please feel free to use any of my own materials for your own study or teaching purposes, subject to the conditions listed on my copyright page. I hope you enjoy and benefit from these pages! Felix Just, S.J., Ph.D.

Papal Encyclicals Online - Your guide to online Papal and other official documents of the Catholic Church.

This is not a Vatican site.

Most of the encyclicals on this site were scanned by CRNET from the 5 volume set, “The Papal Encyclicals 1740-1981” published by Pierian Press. For several years, St. Michael’s Depot included these documents, listed on a single index page of their website titled “Papal Encyclicals Online”. In the year 2002, after being contacted by one of the webmasters at Petersnet (now Catholic Culture), they also gave me their approval for the use of these documents. Permission has also been granted from the LIBRERIA EDITRICE VATICANA (aka Vatican Publishing House) for this site to reprint Papal and Church documents in electronic format. (taken from website)
