# Terms of Service for SCAV

## 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing, downloading, installing, or using SCAV ("the App"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SCAV.
## 2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
SCAV is a location-based mobile application that provides urban exploration challenges, scavenger hunts, and location-specific puzzles. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
## 3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER
USER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT:
- Participation in activities suggested by the App involves inherent and significant risks of property damage, serious injury, or death
- User voluntarily assumes all risks associated with use of the App
- User is solely responsible for their safety and the safety of others
- User must exercise reasonable judgment and follow all applicable laws
- SCAV does not supervise, monitor, or control User activities
## 4. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION
User hereby RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, and COVENANTS NOT TO SUE SCAV, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained while using the App or participating in suggested activities.
## 5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- SCAV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by User for the Service
- These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory of liability
## 6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
User agrees to:
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Respect private property and obtain necessary permissions
- Not engage in dangerous, illegal, or harmful activities
- Use the App only during safe hours and conditions
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and potential hazards
- Not rely solely on App information for safety decisions
## 7. DISCLAIMERS
- Information provided may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete
- No warranty of accuracy, reliability, or availability
- Third-party content is not endorsed or verified
- Service availability subject to change without notice
## 8. PRIVACY AND DATA
By using the App, User consents to collection and use of usage statistics and account information as described in our Privacy Policy. Data may be stored on servers located outside User's jurisdiction.
## 9. AGE REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS
SCAV REQUIRES users to be at least 13 years old. Age verification is mandatory during account creation. Users under 18 must have explicit parental consent and adult supervision during all activities. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for minor users and agree to be bound by these Terms. SCAV reserves the right to terminate accounts that do not meet age requirements.

## 12. TERMINATION
SCAV may terminate or suspend access immediately, without notice, for any reason including breach of Terms. Upon termination, User's right to use the App ceases immediately.
