QR & Barcode Scanner — help & contact
Scanzo lets you scan any QR code or barcode, generate your own codes, and keep an organized history — all fully offline and private. Below are answers to common questions. If you need more help, email us and we’ll get back to you.
How do I scan a code?
Open the Scanner tab and allow camera access, then point your camera at any QR code or barcode. You can also tap the gallery icon to scan a code from a saved photo.
How do I create a QR code or barcode?
Open the Generator tab, choose a type (URL, Wi-Fi, contact, text, and more, or a barcode format), enter your details, then save or share the generated code.
Where are my scans saved?
Every scan is saved to the History tab on your device. You can search, favourite, group scans into batches, and export or delete them. Nothing is uploaded — your data stays on your phone.
What is Batch mode?
Batch mode lets you scan many codes in a row without stopping. Turn it on from the scanner, scan away, then tap “View Batch” to review, copy, share, or export them all.
Why does the app ask for camera / photos / contacts / calendar?
Camera is for scanning; photos for importing or saving codes; contacts and calendar are only used when you choose to save a scanned contact or event. All are optional and used on-device only.
Does Scanzo work offline?
Yes — scanning and generating work with no internet connection. The app shows ads, which require a connection to load, but all core features work offline.
