Stony Brook University’s Pre-Veterinary Society provides a fun and educational atmosphere for pre-vet students and animal lovers alike. 

Those on the pre-vet track receive vital networking opportunities with other students, guest speakers, and alumni who have gone on to Veterinary School. Not a pre-vet student? If you’re looking for a place to express your love of animals with like-minded students, the Society takes trips and offers great volunteer opportunities. 

Our general body meetings are every two weeks for the Spring 2026 Semester. Refer to our instagram @sbu_prevet for updates! We will also have some group trips, fundraisers and volunteer events sprinkled in throughout the semester!
