Welcome to the Stony Brook Pre-Veterinary Society!

The Stony Brook Pre-Veterinary Society is dedicated to supporting undergraduates at Stony Brook University who are pursuing careers in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and animal care. We provide our members with experiential learning, guest speaker sessions, vet school application support, field trips, and hands-on volunteer opportunities across Long Island and beyond.

Welcome to the Stony Brook University Pre-Veterinary Society—a fun and educational community for pre-vet students and animal lovers alike!

What We Offer:

• Pre-Vet Support: Gain vital networking opportunities with fellow students, guest speakers, and SBU alumni attending veterinary school.

• All Majors Welcome: Not on the pre-vet track? Share your love for animals through our group trips and hands-on volunteer events.

We host General Body Meetings biweekly, alongside group trips, fundraisers, and volunteer initiatives throughout the semester. Follow our Instagram @sbu_prevet for the latest updates and schedule changes!
