Meet your Pre-Veterinary Executive Board for the 2026–2027 academic year! Feel free to reach out to any of our board members below—they are happy to answer any questions you have about the club or the application process.
E-Board positions are filled based on the graduation cycles of current officers rather than an automatic annual turnover for every seat. When a position opens due to graduation, elections are hosted in the Spring (or during the Fall semester as needed). Open positions are available to both existing board members and general body members, subject to the eligibility requirements below.
Requirements for Running
Executive Board Core Four (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer): Candidates must have served for at least one full academic year (Fall and Spring semesters) on the Pre-Veterinary Society Executive Board or provide proof of equivalent leadership experience in another registered campus organization or transferring university.
All Other E-Board Positions: Prior board experience is not required. However, all candidates must have attended a minimum of 2 General Body Meetings of the Pre-Veterinary Society and demonstrated an ongoing commitment to the growth and community of the club.
Candidate Presentation Expectations
During elections, all candidates are expected to deliver a short speech outlining their platform. Your speech should demonstrate:
Preparedness and Awareness: A solid understanding of the club's ongoing events, goals, and operational structure.
Vision and Value: Clear, realistic ideas for what you plan to contribute to the board and how you intend to help the club evolve moving forward.
