About

Stony Brook University's Undergraduate Creative Writing Salon is a group of students who are dedicated to increasing their knowledge of the art of writing and all its incorporated genres. We are interested in educating the public on writing, craft skills, the publishing industry, and the world of Reading & Writing in general; as well as providing a space to share ones own pieces. 

Each semester, we hope to provide students with the knowledge they need to succeed in their own writing, through presentations, workshops, guest speakers, and an anthology of student pieces to be showcased on our website at the end of the semester. We aim to foster community through a shared passion of creativity and writing.
