All living things have DNA. What does DNA look like to the naked eye? We found out by using the fruit we eat along with household items (and made a cool necklace out of it).
Activity Description
The participants will crush fruit pieces and use common materials to extract DNA. This is a very simple activity that can help introduce the concept of DNA to young students or reinforce it to older ones.
