One personal note on servant leadership is that you may not necessarily sound like a leader when your entire purpose is to serve others. Personally, the biggest takeaway for me is the importance of sounding credible. As Dr. Sicola (2014) states in the video, when the delivery of your message does not align with the message itself, you don't sound confident or credible as a speaker. To me, confidence comes from the way you speak, and Dr. Sicola does an excellent job in her TEDx Talk outlining this.
