Task2:October

Start Gates will be everyday on every half hour at 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30, 11, 11:30, 12, 12:30, 1, 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3, 3:30, 4, 4:30, and 5. Take any startgate you want. If you want to gaggle fly like a real comp, then announce on the van ride up or on launch to everyone which Startgate you want to use that day.

Task Summary: Out and Return task, Thermal Factory to VOR back to Thermal Factory

Considerations: The Thermal Factory cylinder is big enough to include the towers in front and extends into rattlesnake canyon so strategies can vary both leaving and on making goal. The VOR is a huge 2000m radius cylinder which includes most of No Name. So make sure you have the cylinder in there correctly as you will not need to go further West then No Name. If you are high you can snag the cylinder and turn tail back to West Bowl. If not you will have to tank up on the No Name triggers. You can get down to the 2200ish feet conservatively and make it out to the T or San Marcos Preserve Foothills for good LZs.
