Welcome to my web-world. I am a condensed matter theorist working on problems of strongly correlated electronic systems and their meso-scale effects. I did my Masters in Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur working with Prof. Amit Dutta. I went on to complete my doctorate from the Insititute for Quantum Matter at Johns Hopkins University under the guidance of Prof. Oleg Tchernyshyov.

Following this I moved to beautiful British Columbia and the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute at the University of British Columbia, joining Prof. Marcel Franz and his group. During this time, I also held a visiting position at the university of Tokyo with Prof. Masaki Oshikawa.

Currently I am a research scientist at Intel corporation, working on data analysis and model development for the Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) group. Here I leverage my experience in computational physics and statistics to model and fit large data sets to design experiments. A more densely packed and efficient chip is the end product.

As a researcher, I have worked mostly on problems related to field theories in magnetism and spintronics. In particular, I maintained a substantial collaboration with neutron scattering groups at Johns Hopkins and ISSP. Here I discuss these projects and other stuff I am working on in more (or less) details.

If physics is not why you find yourself here, I do keep my poetry stashed in a corner. I picked up a habit of writing about places I have been to and stuff I have waded through. Prose takes too long and physics is hard, hence poetry.
