How do we price our fresh, tasty veggies? Although things to do change from time to time, we tried to make our pricing structure as basic and simple as we can. Do remember, home delivery does have a modest $5.00 delivery fee. That way, you get the maximum value for your family and we make sure those tasty veggies just keep coming! So, here's a basic run-down of how we price:
All greens (spinach, chard, lettuce, mustard greens, Bok choy, etc. are all $5.00 a bag. Our bags are nice sized, it's about 10 to 14 ounces, so for greens, that's a good bit.
Peppers are $3.00 a bag (unless specialty pepper that's listed separate). A bag consists of about 2 to 4 cups chopped (it's about the amount you would order normally for a family of four, 4 to 6 Bell Peppers, 10 to 15 jalapeños, etc., you get the idea).
Beets, and specialty turnips (we grow sweet salad turnips which are amazing and can even be eaten raw) are $3.00 a bunch. It's a minimum of a pound but can be more than double, depending on availability. Carrots are $5.00 per bundle
Eggplant and okra are $3.00 a bag
Radishes, onions, and herbs are all $3.00 a bunch, a super bargain!
Farm Fresh Eggs are $8.00 a dozen (our spoiled hens get a good balanced diet, so you'll love 'em!)
Sweet Potatoes are $2.00 lb (only available in season)
Summer squash is $3.00 a bag (about 3 to 7, depending on size)
Tomatoes are $5.00 a bag for slicers and same price for a basket of cherry tomatoes
Cucumbers are $3.00 a bag (usually 4 to 6 good size, depending on variety)
Flower bouquets are $8.00 a bouquet (mixed sunflower and wildflower cutting mixes) for jar bouquets and $15.00 for large bouquets on fresh sheet only
From time to time, there may be specialty items not listed here. If so, check the fresh sheet for updates and pricing.
