Welcome to the 2027 SAWC Workshop
The Southern Appalachian Weather and Climate Workshop brings together a diverse group of federal, academic, students, and broadcast media to share research, operations, and communication of weather, water, and climate events. The workshop is interested in a broad range of abstracts concerning weather and climate, and do not necessarily need to be focused on the southern Appalachians.
Program
The Workshop starts Friday afternoon and continues all day Saturday. Friday and Saturday are filled with oral and poster presentations from a broad range of topics in weather, water and climate. Of course there will be plenty of opportunity for asking questions and engaging the operational and academic communities. Here is a link to the 2027 Workshop Agenda.

The 6th Annual SAWC Workshop takes place at Alumni Hall in the Highsmith Student Union at UNC-Asheville. For more information.
