STANDARD 7: ASSESSMENT

Standard 7 - Assessment – The competent teacher understands and uses appropriate formative and summative assessments for determining student needs, monitoring student progress, measuring student growth, and evaluating student outcomes. The teacher makes decisions driven by data about curricular and instructional effectiveness and adjusts practices to meet the needs of each student.

Most students have overall did amazing on my quiz, the students for question 1 did 28.57%, I don’t believe the students understood this lesson and struggled so an overall review on this specific topic will overall help the students more. The next question for two the students that took the test got an overall 71.42% so I would say the students understood the material better for question 2. Following along with question 3 through 6 I have seen the students overall understand the questions given to them with an 85.71% and for the final multiple choice question the students for question 7 and 8 got a 100% meaning all the students so far completely understand the material that is given to them. Overall, I would say the class did an amazing job on the quiz reviewing some of the topics to better help the students understand the material will help the students when it comes to the standardize testing. Overall keeping the data on this so for the standardized testing information review packet, I will collectively have more material towards this test to set the students up for success. For the open-ended question I would have the students answer question 8-10 and overall grade their questions and see their viewpoints on the questions.

Overall, The learners guide from the test was interesting creating a friendly-test that is geared towards the students i believe is very fun! Creating a test that will make the students have fun but also challenges the students I believe is key towards making test for students. The material that was given to the students to help study, it overall seemed like the students understand most of the material, my comphrension of the students learning the students it will possibly better the students overall and myself as a teacher so i can change-up the questions for the students and better the students knowledge.
