Savepoint Journal is designed as a private game journal. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Savepoint Journal does not require an account.
The developer does not use the app to collect journal entries, game information, session logs, notes, objectives, reminders, goals, milestones, completion reviews, custom game images, or app preferences.
Savepoint Journal does not include:
Advertising
Analytics
User tracking
Third-party advertising SDKs
A developer-operated server
Public profiles or social accounts
By default, the information you enter in Savepoint Journal is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
Games and game details
Current objectives
Session logs and playtime information
Notes and reminders
Goals and milestones
Custom game images
Completion reviews
App settings and preferences
The developer does not remotely access this locally stored information.
Deleting the app may delete information stored only on that device. Export a manual backup or use iCloud Sync before deleting the app if you want to preserve your journal.
Savepoint Journal includes optional iCloud Sync.
When iCloud Sync is enabled, supported journal data, custom game images, and app preferences may be stored in and synchronized through your personal iCloud account.
Apple provides and operates iCloud. Savepoint Journal does not use a separate developer-operated server to provide synchronization, and the developer does not access the contents of your iCloud journal data.
Sync availability depends on iCloud, your Apple Account, device settings, internet connection, and available iCloud storage.
You can turn iCloud Sync off in Savepoint Journal. Turning it off stops new synchronization through iCloud on that device. Information previously stored in iCloud may remain in your personal iCloud account according to your settings and Apple’s data-management practices.
Savepoint Journal allows you to export and import manual backup files.
An exported backup may contain information from your journal. You choose where the backup is saved and whether it is shared with another person, application, cloud-storage provider, or service.
The privacy and security of an exported backup depend on where you choose to store or send it. Keep backup files in a secure location and only share them with people or services you trust.
You may choose images from your photo library to use as custom game artwork.
Savepoint Journal uses only the images you select for this purpose. Selected images may be stored locally and may be included in iCloud synchronization or manual backups when those features are used.
Savepoint Journal does not upload selected images to a developer-operated server.
Savepoint Journal may allow you to create or share content, such as completion cards or exported backups.
Sharing occurs only when you choose to use a sharing or export feature. The receiving application or service may handle shared information according to its own privacy policy.
Review the information shown in a sharing screen before sending it.
Savepoint Journal does not access the microphone and does not record audio.
If you use keyboard dictation, the dictation feature is provided and handled by iOS. Savepoint Journal receives the resulting text as keyboard input. The app does not receive an audio recording from the dictation session.
Apple’s handling of dictation is governed by Apple’s settings, terms, and privacy practices.
Savepoint Journal is distributed through the App Store and may use Apple services such as iCloud when you enable iCloud Sync.
Apple may provide developers with App Store Connect information such as downloads, sales, crashes, and general app performance metrics. This information is provided by Apple through App Store Connect and is separate from Savepoint Journal’s in-app journal data.
Savepoint Journal does not use this information to track users, build advertising profiles, or access the contents of your journal.
If you contact support by email, the developer will receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device information, app version, and description of the issue.
Support emails are used to respond to questions, investigate problems, and improve the app. They are not used for advertising or user profiling.
Please do not include private journal entries, custom images, or backup files unless they are necessary to investigate a support request.
Savepoint Journal is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Because the app does not require an account and the developer does not collect journal data through the app, the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Savepoint Journal.
Journal information stored locally can be removed by deleting entries within the app or deleting the app from the device.
Information synchronized through iCloud is managed through the app, your devices, your Apple Account, and Apple’s iCloud services.
Manual backups remain wherever you chose to save them until you delete them.
Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain support records, and resolve recurring technical issues.
Savepoint Journal is designed to minimize data collection by keeping journal information on your device or in your personal iCloud account when you enable iCloud Sync.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Apple Account, exported backups, and any services through which you choose to share information.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Savepoint Journal’s features or data-handling practices change.
The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its App Store listing when appropriate.
